The guy:
Patrick Padley is a Kansas City-based new media creator, digital strategist, podcaster, musician, coffee addict and online marketing thinker. If you haven’t met Pat, or read his blog you’ve probably seen his work. As a Social Media Consultant at Digital Evolution Group, a digital consultancy in Kansas City, Pat advises clients on their online initiatives and marketing strategy. Pat has worked with companies such as Bushnell (backtrackgps.com), Rockport (social strategy – Facebook.com/Rockport), Timberland (community.timberland.com). In addition to strategy, Patrick has a focus in Web video and has produced content for for brands such as Timberland (www.YouTube.com/Timberland), the Kansas City Royals and Sonic. He is passionate about social media and the marketing opportunities it represents for clients. Patrick possesses a keen understanding of how the social channel and creative elements mix together to support marketing objectives.
Additionally, Patrick serves as a council member of ad2, a club within the AAF-KC for members aged 32 and under in the marketing and advertising industry.
He is a University of Tulsa graduate with BA in Film Studies and minor in marketing and film scoring. Patrick co-produces In Between Sundays, a Catholic young adult podcast and is a frequent guest on other podcasts. Patrick is also an SQPN board member. In his spare time Patrick enjoys composing music, traveling, photography and spending time with his friends and family.

The music:
Pat is also a musician. As a native of Overland Park, Kansas, Pat was the youngest of three lively boys. He was first introduced to music at a young age by joining choir in 5th grade. While attending St. Thomas Aquinas High School he develop a greater love for music by acting and singing in on-stage musicals. In addition to learning music at school Patrick furthered his passion by taking 6 years of percussion lessons.
After quickly picking up piano between his freshman and sophomore year of high school, he started composing instrumental pieces. Patrick’s first CD, Embodiment, was published in September of 2004. Embodiment is a collection of piano solos written over a two year period and is an essential CD for anyone who loves new age music. Since its release many critics have classified Pat’s melodies as comforting, soothing and inspiring. You can listen to his music here>>
